Becoming a TEDx speaker

Curious how to speak on the TEDx stage?

I've been a TEDx speaker, served as a speaker coach for several TEDx events, and also been a lead organizer for a major TEDx event.

I'm also applying everything I share with you in this post to secure another TEDx speaking opportunity by May of 2020... so just putting it out there with permission for you to hold me accountable. I want you to see this process works.

In the short video below, I'm giving an introduction on how to find TEDx opportunities and outline common selection processes by TEDx organizers.

If you have an idea worth sharing and want to speak at TEDx, this video will help you get started.

As a professional speaker, your TEDx video will likely be the most watched video. I believe your TEDx video trumps any demo video you could make on your own because you're on the TED/TEDx Youtube channel AND you have the credibility of being a TEDx speaker.

I have secured several professional speaking opportunities because meeting planners and event organizers watched my TEDx talk and then reached out to me.

So if speaking on the TEDx stage is your desire, the most important question to ask yourself is...

What will it take to get there?

My video will lay out the groundwork for you. (click image below to watch)

If you're still hungry to speak at TEDx after watching my above 10-minute tutorial video, I'd encourage you to watch my own TEDx video below.

I believe you can do it too. You just need to know how to identify the right TEDx event, craft your talk as an "idea worth spreading" and reach out appropriately with the right information.

If you willing to do what it takes, I'm here to help. Contact me for a TEDx consultation.

Enjoy watching.
